Madam Catherine Aiben, councillor of the US embassy has called on the foreign affairs committee in parliament to advise Ghanaians to be punctual at picking their visas at the embassy.
She revealed this when the foreign affairs committee in Parliament met with the US Ambassador to address the press on recent issues of Ghanaians being deported from America.
She added that, late arrival attitudes of Ghanaians for their appointment affects their visa process.
The attitude of Ghanaians arriving late for every or most programs has been a challenge for years and the President of the republic Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo Addo has made moves to stop it.
The issues raised by the US Embassy send signals of the action in progress.
The foreign affairs committee pleaded with the US ambassador to reduce the price of visa purchase since the money is not refunded after being rejected but the plea was rejected.
