A sports presenter at Top Media Group TMG’s Top FM, Paul Napoleon Agyeman referred to by many as ‘Sports President’ has described the Head Coach of the Ghana Black Stars Avram Grant as perplexed and incapable of leading the stars to the world cup tournament at Russia in 2018.
Speaking on Top Sports on the ‘Bie Gya’ segment, Mr Agyeman said he is disappointed in the caliber of players invited by the coach ahead of the Egypt clash. Some of these players he said reserved players in the various team of play.
He stated that, local players who played about 90% Ghana Premier League (GPL) can even play better.
Ghana is expected to play with the Pharaohs of Egypt on Sunday, 13th November this year as part of the world cup qualifiers at Alexandria Stadium in Alexandria, a city in Egypt.
The ‘Sports President’ emphatically stated that, Andy Yiadom who plays at Barnsley FC in England does not qualify to play for the Senior National Soccer Team.
Paul Napoleon Agyeman concluded that, the lackadaisical attitude of Avram Grant will do more harm than good to the Ghana Black Stars.
