Former Black Stars vice-president Fred Pappoe, has called for a quick settlement of the issues dangling around the neck of the senior national team, the Black Stars.
The director of Accra Great Olympics, said the officials at the helm of affairs at the Ghana FA needs to sit up and solve the malaise which is affecting the performance of the team.
Speaking to the media, Mr. Pappoe intimated that if the issues keeps persisting the team will not go anywhere.
“The problem is how they play or organize themselves towards achieving results, if we won the four matches and played poorly, it could have been a source of worry to everybody. Looking at the matches we’ve [Black Stars] played, seriously our performance was not satisfactory and Grant is not catching up to his best.
“If we are really serious about what we are doing, we have to sit up and look at a lot of issues. So we all have to wake up and solve all problems because it’s a shame.
When quizzed to comment on Ghana’s chances in qualifying to the 2018 World Cup, Mr. Pappoe said: “If we continue doing things this way without calling on board everybody in position who can deliver and get the team on course, we [Ghana] will not get anywhere.
