The family of Arsenal forward Danny Welbeck has built a school in his native Ghana.
The 26-year-old is currently on holiday in the West African after patchy performance in the English Premier League last season.
With the support of the St Andrew Church Droylsden, Manchester, the forward and his mother have been able to put up a school for pupils of Nkawie in the Ashant region.
Proud of my mother & St Andrew’s Church Droylsden, Manchester for donations towards building St Paul’s Sunshine Pre-School in Nkawie GH 🙏🏿🇬🇭 pic.twitter.com/HUhzCivVGe

Welbeck chose to represent England despite being born to Ghanaian parent.
