“Dukes of Hazzard” star Tom Wopat — who was arrested last month for felony indecent assault — is reportedly facing a slew of new charges stemming from an incident involving an underage costar.
The ex TV star, 65, stands accused of poking a 16-year-old, crop-top sporting actress in the stomach with his finger during rehearsal for “42nd Street.”
He followed up the poking by saying, “I’m a creepy old man, you’re really talented and really cute,” according to new documents obtained by TMZ.
The documents also allege that shortly after, Wopat struck the teen’s behind with his script and said, “Nice butt.” After he was warned that the girl was underage by an adult on set, he responded, “Don’t worry because my wife is 17 years younger than me so I’m good,” according to the gossip site.
It’s these incidents that have the actor facing a new indecent assault and battery charge, plus two additional charges of accosting and annoying.
The legal trouble comes one month after Wopat was arrested in Waltham, Mass. for allegedly grabbing the buttocks of a female costar during rehearsals for the production.
Wopat denied ever touching the woman, and when confronted with the groping allegations on set, responded, “—k them all,” according to the police report obtained by TMZ.
He also received a misdemeanor drug possession charge after cops discovered several baggies of what they believed to be cocaine while booking him for his initial arrest.
Wopat’s reps told the Daily News at the time that the actor has been caught in an “ongoing struggle” with addiction, and that he would be taking “immediate steps” toward sobriety.
His reps also maintained that Wopat “firmly denies” the assault allegations, and was keeping faith that “the truth will be revealed and his good name will be restored.”
His reps did not immediately return a Daily News request for comment on the additional charges.
