The ex-coach of the Ghana black stars Avram Grant may lose his final salary from the Ghana Football Association (GFA) if he fails to produce report on the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations in held in Gabon.
The vice president for the Ghana Football Association, George Afriyie made this known and added that the Israeli will not receive his last salary until he produces the report.
“We have decided to hold on to the payment until he produces his report, up till now he has not submitted it, we are still waiting to receive it,” he told the media.
“Until then we are not going to pay his last salary.”
Grant is expected to provide details on activities and dealings during the tournament which saw Ghana finish at fourth place during the 2017 AFCON.
The former Chelsea boss failed to meet his target which ultimately led to his departure as Black Stars Coach.
Spokesperson for the GFA, Ibrahim Saani Daara, also confirmed this to Peace Sport’ Anim Addo in an interview.
Avram Grant spent two years as head Coach of the Black Stars of Ghana helping the team to the finals 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
