The Executive Director of the Ghana Institute of Governance And Security, GIGS, Dr David Agbe has said he finds it difficult to understand some appointments by the President, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo Addo.
Speaking on Top FM’s Morning Show Ghana Te Sen Mr Agbe said the appointment of Dr Edward Nasigiri Mahama should be well explained to make much meaning to prevent the appointee from crossing boundaries of his official duty to other jurisdictions.
Nana Addo appointed 110 ministers under his government creating the office of the senior minister and that of monitoring and evaluation.
This has been criticized by some section of Ghanaians who seem to be confused about the real duties of these appointees.
He current appointment of Dr Edward Nasigiri Mahama as an Ambassodor-at-large has caused raised brows again including that from the boss of GIGS who want a real definition of the position of the PNC Flag bearer as well as his duties.
