The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has shown appreciation to the Electoral Commission for approving it nomination form.
According to a statement signed by the Acting General Secretary Mr John Boadu, “The 2016 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the entire leadership of the party is grateful to the Electoral Commission for vetting and approving the nomination Forms submitted to the Electoral Commission”.
The statement also applauded the commission on it bold step to disqualify persons who did not meet the requirements to contest as President or Members of Parliament.
They also ensured the EC of their fair cooperation towards attaining a free and fair elections on the 7th of December.
“We are also encouraged by the Commission’s bold step to disqualify persons who did not meet the requirement as Prescribed by Law. This action, is certainly one that will cleanse the electoral process and present to Ghanaians, candidates who are prepared to serve this country as President and Parliamentarians”.
“The NPP shall cooperate with the EC to ensure fair elections”.
