About 200 young people in Odododiodo constituency took to the streets of Accra yesterday night to preach peace to the public ahead of the general elections.
The walk which was organized by Ga Dangbe Muslim Council District (GMC) started from Accra post office through Akoto Lamptey to Bukum,Ga Manshi, Sualaba, Mantse Agboana, high street and back to post office.
The enthusiastic young people with white candles and flash lights danced to the music whiles putting their massages across.
Nii Gamu Adama Addy I, the leader of GMC in an interview with Top News lamented that ahead of the elections, Odododiodoo has been cited as one of the flash point for violence, so the walk was to inform the people that, they are all one people irrespective of their parties.
He advised that, December 7th, the election day will pass and result will be known December 8, but the Odododiodoo family will still exit hence no need to to hate each other for the power another seek.
Nii Gamu Adama Addy I appeal to the people of
Odododiodoo to remain calm and to elude violence to prove to the media that Odododiodoo is not one of the flash points.
