The Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) has descended on the out gone Moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana saying they will treat him as a politician.
The outspoken NDC scribe Koku Anyidoho stressed that, he sees no reason why Prof. Emmanuel Martey will always target the party anytime he gets the platform which he tagged him as a member of the NPP.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has challenged Rev. Professor Emmanuel Martey to substantiate his US$100,000.00 bribery allegations.
The immediate past moderator of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana at a news conference on Tuesday, 30 August 2016 revealed that some politicians attempted to bribe him with US$100,000.00 to gag him. Even though, Prof Martey felt short of mentioning any particular politician; it is believed that he was referring to the NDC.
Speaking in an interview with Top News, Koku Anyidoho criticized the preacher man for his allegations leveled against the party saying the man also failed to mention names of the said persons whom he claims came to bribe him and also those whom he claims they are stealing from the state.
He again thanked Prof. Martey for making them see his true colours and the political party he supports thus when they are dealing with him the will treat him as a politician.
Let’s listen to the Audio of Koku Anyidoho:
Prof Martey speaking yesterday said “Politicians have tried all means to muzzle me, to get me but they can’t, they come with bribes, fat envelopes, $100, 000…I want everybody to listen that politicians came to my house with $100, 000 and also with the promises that if you keep quiet we will give you a house at Trasaaco with swimming pool.
“We will give you Four Wheel drive [vehicle] but you know what, these people were lucky that I do not have big dogs in my house else I would have released the dogs for them to bite them,” he alleged.
“They have tried all means to muzzle me but they couldn’t and I tell you they can’t,” added Prof. Martey.
Even though, Prof Martey felt short of mentioning any particular politician; it is believed that he was referring to the NDC.
He added that, some members of the National Democratic Congress called him earlier on laying insults on his personality as he advised the party to be watchful of the what they say as he believes that is making the party unpopular.
Let’s listen to the allegations Prof Emmanuel Martey yesterday leveled against the NDC party that has generated such debate.
