A member of Pressure Group, Occupy Ghana, Jay Jay Kweku Segbefia has stated that the embattled businessman, Alfred Agbeshie Woyome lied about his 3.4 million jobs for Ghanaians out of is new juicy contract from the state.
The project, Woyome said, will create 50,000 managerial jobs, a minimum of 350,000 direct skilled jobs, and over 3,000,000 direct and indirect unskilled jobs.
The claim was contained in a press statement reacting to revelations that he has landed another juicy government contract to construct some industrialized parks in the name of Anator Holdings Company Limited despite scandalous circumstances surrounding his previous dealings with the state.
Kwaku Segbefia stressed that, Mr. Woyome lied completely about the job creation he said in his statement saying the actual contract they said they will create 30,000 non-permanent job so where from that 3.4 million jobs he is talking about, he questioned.
He said the lots of promises contained the Woyome’s statement does not conform to the ones in the documents of the contract.
He revealed this in an interview with Yaa Titi Okrah Yangy on Enne Ghana, Top FM’s News Analysis Program.
But the spokesperson for Woyome, Reginald Dogbe on the same platform said his boss is not the sole owner of the company but just a shareholder.
Mr Segbefia in a rebuttal said that, Woyome is the 100% shareholder of Anator holdings and also the board chairman hence a contract to Anator is a contract directly to Woyome.
“He is the CEO, Board chairman and one hundred percent shareholder in Anator holdings”, he stated.
