The Progressive People’s Party, PPP has called for an amendment in the 1992 constitution to allow Ghanaians with dual citizenship to be able to hold public office.
In a statement to mark ‘Fix the constitution day’, the PPP noted that Ghanaians who in a way hold the right to be citizens of other countries are still Ghanaians and hence should be allowed to contest and hold positions in governance.
