The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is set to hold a one-day virtual seminar for Ghana Premier League clubs as part of preparations for the 2026/27 season.
The seminar, scheduled between August 26 and 28, will provide clubs with practical guidance on implementing the Enhanced Matchday Safety and Security Protocols and meeting the requirements of the Premier League Regulations.
The virtual engagement will focus on the responsibilities of club management and designated Safety and Security Officers in ensuring that matches are staged in a safe, secure and well-organized environment.
Participants will also discuss measures to improve coordination and preparedness before, during and after matches, with particular attention to risk prevention, crowd management and matchday operations.
The GFA will also stress the importance of clubs educating and engaging fans, coaches, players and staff on the official Code of Conduct and promoting responsible behaviour at matches.
The seminar forms part of the Association’s preparations for the new campaign, with the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season scheduled to begin between September 4 and 7, 2026.
The season is expected to conclude between May 28 and 31, 2027.
