Senior Industrial Relations Public Utility Workers Union of T.U.C (PUWU), Robert Boadu says the Current E.C.G Manager Mr. Kwame Agyeman-Budu regime has caused the company alot of system lost and even workers use their pocket money for stationary materials to perform their official duties.
He disclosed this to Maame Yaa Boakye on “Enn3 Ghana” live on Top103.1fm.
He said the worker of the Electricity Company of Ghana have even demonstrated against the extension of stay for their current managing director Kwame Agyeman Bodu.
According to the workers the current MD has clock his retirement age and must pave way for others to occupy his post. The workers are of the view that, the incompetence of their current MD is what has led to the poor power distribution of the company and moreover the experiencing of power outage nationwide.
He said under the regime of the current MD the company is running at bankruptcy and if care is not taken ECG may be sold out.
