The University of Education, Winneba has terminated the appointment of Francis Obeng, as the Finance Officer of the University.
The University directed him to hand over all the University’s properties and assets in his care and custody to the Vice-Chancellor of the University by the close of Friday 25th February 2022.
According to the letter signed by the Chairman, Nana Ofori-Ansah I, of the UEW Governing Council and sighted by Top FM, that the decision to terminate Francis Obeng’s appointment was by a consensus which both the current leadership and the Governing Board of the University arrived at to terminate his appointment due to some reasons.
The letter further stated that, the Vice-Chancellor is to direct the Finance Section of the University to immediately process the payment of Francis Obeng’s six months’ salary in lieu of notice and all his other entitlements to him.
