The incident occurred 15 to 20years ago in Abomuso.when then the Maame Akos and Kwaku were 2years and 7years respectively.

According to Madam Dorcas, the N.G.O claimed they were taking my children to United State America (U.S.A) to cater for them and also give them good education.

She added that “the organization was led by a man in her village called Mr. Apeani, who said the children would be staying with his in-law in USA”.

She maintained that, she went to Koforidua High Court with Mr. Apeani to sign some documents concerning the children.

Madam Dorcas stated that she sat outside whiles Mr. Apeani was inside until she was called to come and sign, but didn’t know or nor understand what was written on the paper.

She added that the content of the documents wasn’t explained to her.

In addition, Mr. Apeani told Madam Dorcas that her children will return to Ghana after 5 years.

She asked to see her children after 5 years and Mr. Apeani told her that her children will be back in the next 15 years that’s if the children want.

In furtherance, It’s was after persuasion from the family of Madam Dorcas  that Mr. Apeani told the family that the children have been adopted by a family in abroad.

Madam Dorcas is pleading with the government to help her get her children back.
