A 34 year old teacher at Twifo Nyinase Roman Catholic Basic School has sodomize a 60 year old man who also hails from the town..

The teacher, Alexander Akwasi Acquah a class two teacher at Twifo Nyinase Roman Catholic Basic School in the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District of the Central Region is reported to have engaged in anal sex with Opanin Koofie 60 years and a former Unit Committee Chairman at Twifo Nyinase.

In an interview, Opanin Koofie said, the victim, teacher Alexander Akwasi Acquah came to him to inquire whether he (the victim) was in the house alone or with others.

After finding out that Opanin Koofie was alone in the house, teacher Alexander Acquah later took him to a drinking spot to buy some acholic beverages for him.

Subsequently, teacher Alexander Acquah requested to spend the night with Opanin Koofie because he claimed his sisters have come from Accra and were going to use his room which Opanin Koofie agreed to spend the night with him as the teacher pleaded.

And when he was asleep the Suspect forcefully removed his boxers and had his way through his anus. He could not fight back because of his age but shouted for external help, he added.

The Twifo Ati-Morkwa District Director of education Mr. Anthony Takyi also confirmed the incident  indicating that, he has received the report and the directorate assisted the police to get hold of the suspect who took to his heels.

Mr. Anthony Takyi also hinted on the secret transfer that the family of teacher Alexander Akwasi Acquah wanted from the directorate which he declined.

The Suspect has been arrested and assisting investigation in at the Twifu Praso Police Command.
