The Mobile money Agents Association of Ghana has stated that none of their members will work on Thursday, December 23 as part of the strike action against the introduction of the electronic transaction levy (E-Levy).
According to a statement signed by the Secretary of the association, Mr Evans Otumfuo, members of the association will embark on an industrial strike action plan to register their displeasure over the levy.
The statement further added that, “if all effort remained futile, an indefinite action will be taken thereafter.”
