A two months old baby boy has been abandoned by the mother at the entrance of the Seventh Day Adventist Church (SDA) at Asonomaso in the Ashanti Region.
The incident which is believed to have happened today was discovered by an Adventist who went to the church premise at 4:30am this dawn.
Assembly Member for the area, Hon. Kwadwo Appiah was informed, he also invited the police to visit the place together.
The baby has been sent to Mamponteng Social Welfare for protection and nurturing.
Police has commenced investigation into the matter to search for the mother of the baby for further interrogations.
