The Ghana Police Service has gained a court warrant to arrest the MP for Nhyiaeso, Dr. Stephen Amoah after a special exercise to clamp down on drivers of V8 vehicles who break various road traffic rules.
The honorable member of Parliament was among seven drivers who committed various offences.
The La magistrate Court issued the warrant for the arrest of Dr. Stephen Amoah, the MP for Nhyiaeso and one Samuel Anim for failing to attend hearing on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, Five of the offenders were present; four were fined GHC 1,800 of which they paid. One was made to sign a bond of good bahaviour.
