Former Ghana international winger Frank Acheampong delivered a sensational performance on Sunday, scoring all four goals as Dalian Yingbo cruised to a commanding 4-0 victory over Qingdao West Coast in the Chinese Super League.
The former Black Stars attacker was in devastating form at the Qingdao West Coast University City Stadium, producing a remarkable individual display to inspire the visitors to an emphatic away win in their Week 27 encounter.
Acheampong, who started the match and played the entire minutes, wasted little time making his mark, opening the scoring in the seventh minute to hand Dalian Yingbo an early advantage.
The Ghanaian winger’s first-half strike proved decisive as Dalian Yingbo headed into the break with a narrow lead, despite the hosts’ efforts to find a response.
However, Acheampong took his performance to another level after the restart, completing a second-half hat-trick to seal an impressive four-goal haul and secure all three points for his side.
His clinical finishing and attacking threat proved too much for Qingdao West Coast to handle, with the former Anderlecht star taking centre stage in a dominant display by Dalian Yingbo.
The four-goal performance further underlines Acheampong’s importance to the Chinese outfit, as the experienced Ghanaian continues to enjoy an impressive campaign.
He has now registered 11 goals and four assists this season, establishing himself as one of Dalian Yingbo’s key attacking players this season.
