The recent attempt at retooling the Information Services Department being championed by the Minister of Information Hon Kojo Oppong Nkrumah may suffer a huge set back as encroachers with the connivance of the Lands commission are grabbing lands meant for this projec.
The Latest is one in Kanda close to TV 3 meant for a duty post for ISD Directors the Encroachers first demolished a structure which is the outer house under construction before going ahead to construct a building on the said facility. Inspite of recent instruction by the Minister of Lands Hon Abu Jinapor to the Lands commission for a halt of this construction the Encroachers will not stop. Meanwhile a business man suspected to be behind this act has taken to the media and described this place dedicated for strategic place in I SD transformation programme as an abandoned place for squatters. No one can tell what is next on the agenda of these encroachers.
