Ghanaian-American actor and comedian, Michael Blackson has announced plans to begin an anti bullying campaign, following the tragic killing of 15-year-old Javits Frimpong in Bronx, New York.
According to him, he made that decision to drum home the painful experience he had while living and growing up as an immigrant in Newark, New Jersey.
Recounting his past, Michael Blackson, in a social media post, described an instance where he was physically attacked while on his way back from school.
The entertainer added that most of the attacks were because he was the only African student in the school and performed better academically as well.
Javits Frimpong was tragically shot in the abdomen while on his way to school in Bronx, New York by yet to be identifies hooded men.
