Ghanaian music stars Black Sherif, KiDi, King Promise, Stonebwoy and Moliy have secured nominations at the 18th Headies Awards, joining a strong lineup of African artistes competing for honors at this year’s ceremony.
The Ghanaian stars will compete in the Best West African Artiste category against artistes from across the region. Among their competitors are Ivorian rapper Himra and Senegalese singer Wally B. Seck.
The nominations highlight the growing presence of Ghanaian music on the continental stage, with the artistes recognized for their contributions to the region’s vibrant music industry.
The 18th Headies Awards will be held in Toronto, Canada, on 25 October 2026. This year’s ceremony will be held under the theme, “Africa to the World”.
