The First Lady of Ghana, Lordina Mahama, has put smiles on the faces of the less privileged following a pre-Christmas donation to orphanage homes across the country ahead of the Christmas festivities.
The beneficiary homes include Osu Children’s Home and Christ Faith Foster Home at Frafraha, Bethesda and FrankMay Homes in the Bono Region and Anfaani and Tamale Children’s Home in the Northern Region.
Over the years, the Lordina Foundation has worked to provide food, drinkables and sanitary products to some three orphanages adopted in the three Northern Regions.
It has become an annual celebration during Easter and Christmas celebrations for the Lordina Foundation to share essential items to the needy in society for them to also enjoy in the happiness of the moment.
Some of the items donated by the Lordina Mahama Foundation to the institutions included bags of rice and gari, bottled water, Nido , milk powder, boxes of mackerel and sardines, spaghetti, Milo, assorted drinks chocolate, tissue paper, liquid soap, sanitary pads and diapers.
