NRSA goes after schools with rickety, ‘not fit for purpose’ buses

The National Road Safety Authority is cautioning schools with buses to ensure the safety of the pupils are prioritized by providing buses that are fit for purpose with qualified drivers for transport purposes.

The authority in a statement said it has observed the week nature of some buses, unqualified drivers and over loading that takes place in them.

Schools have been cautioned to do things right according to the law. It also advised schools in urban areas to work with assemblies for proper traffic guidance.
