23-year-old Okada rider named Rafiq Mohammed, has been confirmed dead following a collision between a motorbike and a tractor at Antwi Adjei Nkwanta in the Atwima Mponua District of the Ashanti Region.
His pillion rider, identified as 17-year-old Cosmos Boateng, is currently in critical condition following the accident.
According to eyewitness report, the tractor was driven by 26-year-old man named Shariff Abdul Rahman, who was travelling from Antwi Adjei Nkwanta to Manukrom to purchase fuel at the Desert Filling Station.
Rafiq Mohammed was pronounced dead on arrival at the Bibiani Municipal Hospital with the other three victims sustaining various injuries and receiving treatment at the DAKS Hospital
The body of the deceased has since been conveyed to the Bibiani morgue, for autopsy.
