A local governance analyst, Mr Amon Kotei says the ‘Operation Clean your frontage’ exercise taking place in Accra has a short life span.
According to him, the works of the former town council or better known as ‘tankas’ is way different from what is happening.
Many appointed persons have done similar or more than what the Greater Accra Regional Minister, Hon Henry Quatey is doing but it yielded no positive result because that is not the antidot to the disease of filthy and overcrowding of market centers the country is facing now, he added.
Mr Kotei adviced that, decentralization should happen to make traders stay in their respective regions.
He revealed this in an interview with Maame Yaa Boakye on Enne Ghana.
