The Chamber of Petroleum Consumers, COPEC has stated that they may organize themselves and demonstrate against the government for the reintroduction of the Price Stabilization and Energy Recovery Levy.

The National Petroleum Authority, NPA in a statement signed by its boss, Dr Mustapha Hamid said the reintroduction became necessary to continue the subsidies on premix fuel in the country.

But the Head of Research and Policy for COPEC, Mr Benjamin Nsiah says the move will further worsen the plight of Ghanaians and if the need will demonstrate for the general reduction of Fuel prices in the country.

This was in an interview with Maame Yaa Boakye on Enne Ghana.
