Parliament will consider the approval of presidential nominee as chief justice to the Supreme Court today. This came to bare today during a media encounter with leadership of Parliament.
Addressing the press, the majority leader Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu said, the CJ’s approval does not have to come with any form of political heckling and thus should be approved without delay.
Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu again stated that Parliament will sit for 8 weeks due to some unplanned programmes which will need the attention of all leaders in the house to flown outside the country to participate, due to this, the house is set to adjourn on 3rd August.
The media encounter is mostly held at the beginning of every meeting with members of the parliamentary press corp .
