In line with this year’s World Environment Day, GFF is embarking on a sustainable compaign to rid the country of filth and promote cleanliness.
The clean up campaign titled “Lets Clean Our Communities Together” is on 5th June 2025.
The purpose of this campaign is to celebrate this year’s World Environment Day which falls on Thursday, June 5, 2025.
Speaking at a community engagement event in Nungua to announce the campaign, Head of Research, Mrs. Haggar Quao who is also in charge of the Green Future Projects told community members gathered at the event to be very deliberate about protecting the environment.
“We only have one World and It behoves on each and every one of us to cherish and keep it safe”, she said during the event.
The up-coming cleaning up campaign will see participants cleaning selected communities in Accra and Prestea on World Environment Day.
