MP for North Tongu and the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has commissioned a newly constructed and fully furnished Kindergarten block in Aveyime, in the Volta Region.

Mr. Ablakwah on Monday, July 14, 2025 commissioned the building, reaffirming his commitment to education in his constituency.

“I was in my beloved North Tongu earlier today to commission a newly constructed and fully furnished Kindergarten Block.

“This brings the total number of KG projects spearheaded by the MP in recent years to 20,” he posted along with photos on his social media platforms.

The 100 capacity classrooms according to the Member of Parliament is equiped with modern facilities to enable effective teaching and learning.

“The new Aveyime Methodist KG has 100-capacity classrooms, teachers’ offices, kitchen, washrooms, storeroom, poly tanks and a playground,” he wrote.

In addition, he also presented scholarships packages worth Gh¢ 145,000 to some tertiary students in the constituency.

Hon. Ablakwah expressed his commitments in investing in education over the years to come in order to uplift the standards of his constituents.

“Investing in quality education will remain my priority as MP,” he added.
