Bibiani Gold Stars FC Chief Executive Officer Kwasi Adu has been charged by the Ghana Football Association (GFA) following the club’s Ghana Premier League match against Hearts of Oak.
According to the GFA’s latest regulatory update for the 2026/27 season, Adu has been charged with breaching Article 34(6)(d) of the Ghana Premier League Regulations, 2025.
The charge is linked to comments he allegedly made about the match officials during his post-match commentary.
The GFA said the comments amount to improper conduct that brings the Ghana Premier League into disrepute.
Adu has until Wednesday, September 16, 2026, to respond to the charge.
The case follows Gold Stars’ second matchday meeting with Hearts of Oak in the 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season.
Gold Stars lost 2-1 at home to Hearts despite taking the lead through Kwame Opoku.
