Two-time Heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua has opened up about the recent tragic accident that claimed the lives of two of his long time friends and business partners.
According to him he is focused on building a legacy for them because the accident really saddened him.
“It’s actually comforting to know I’ve got two brothers on the other side. You know, I’ve lost people before, but i don’t think I’ve lost people like that. My left and my right. throughout this journey I’ve been on.. It’s not easy but they’ve been good”
Anthony Joshua added that he doesn’t realize he’s that big guy any more since lost two of his protectors but the mission must go on to reach the ultimate legacy he plans on building for his close friends. Kevin Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghemi.
“I didn’t even realize that I’m the big guy, you know what I mean…? But I was walking with giants. That kept me protected, kept me shielded. But the mission must go on. I understand my duty”. Anthony Joshua told Sky Sports in an interview.
“I understand what they wanted to do for their families. So my goal is to and help them achieve their goals even though they may not be here physically. When I pray at night, when I pray in the morning, I know spiritually they’re going to aid me through, because it is not physical strength that will get me through”.
“It’s going to take a lot of strength from higher power. So I’m definitely going to be saying my prayers, so I’m going to help them fulfil their dreams for their families. Not only me there’s a whole team of us, a whole brotherhood, a whole sisterhood will be helping fulfill their legacy and their dream.”
