Officers from the K9 Unit of the Ghana Police Service have been deployed as part of a grand security strategy for the festive season, especially on New Year’s eve.

The specially trained dogs will be on the streets even beyond the festive season, according to the police

This is to “ensure the security and safety of commuters on our roads”.

The K9 Unit is part of Police Special Operations.
