Black Stars have arrived in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region, for their 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying match against Angola on Thursday.
Led by new team manager Ammenu Shadow and coach Chris Hughton, the team received a warm welcome upon their arrival, with fans eager to see the four-time African champions in action.
The team, which includes notable players such as captain Andre Ayew, Jordan Ayew, Thomas Partey, Mohammed Kudus, Inaki Williams and Kamaldeen Sulemana, will train later in the day at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The match is one of two games against Angola, with the second match scheduled to take place four days later in Luanda.
Black Stars are expected to put up a fierce fight as they aim to secure two wins in their bid to qualify for the upcoming African Cup of Nations tournament.
