Nii Odartey Lamptey, a former Ghanaian international footballer, says he prays that no other guy has to go through the emotional upheaval he has had to undergo with his ex-wife, Gloria Appiah, who is still demanding more.
When Odartey Lamptey tested the DNA of his three children with his ex-wife Gloria Appiah in 2013, he learned that he was not the biological father of the children.
Upon discovering that he had been deceived by his wife since they were married in 1993, he decided to divorce her and start again.
Gloria Appiah, on the other hand, filed an appeal in court to be awarded Odartey Lamptey’s luxurious seven-bedroom home in East Legon.
Three judges who heard the issue in court, however, determined that she did not deserve to be awarded the property and ordered her to vacate the premises as soon as possible.
Odartey Lamptey said in a chit-chat with the press said that his time in court had been a difficult experience that he hoped no other guy on the face of the world would have to go through.
“I’ve been through a lot throughout this time, and I’m grateful that we were able to bring the matter to a close.” The appeal process took years, which is a significant amount of time. I would want to express my gratitude to my legal team for their efforts in ensuring that I won this lawsuit. “No guy should ever have to go through anything as painful as this in his life,” he remarked.
