Ghana and Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams is considering retiring from international football with the Black Stars, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively report.
The 32-year-old is weighing up his future with the Ghana national team, with an official announcement expected imminently, a source close to the player revealed.
Williams switched his international allegiance from Spain to Ghana in 2022 and has since made 28 appearances for the Black Stars, scoring twice.
He made his Ghana debut in June 2022 after completing the nationality switch, becoming eligible to represent the country of his parents at senior level.
Williams was subsequently included in Ghana’s squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where he featured in the tournament.
