As the world marked Boxing Day on December 26, Top Media Group runners of Top Radio and Top TV took to the streets of the capital to celebrate with the less needy and the homeless people on our streets.

Across Ghana’s big cities and towns if you like add the villages; countless children live and work on the streets, facing hunger as a daily reality. For these vulnerable kids, a simple meal can mean the difference between despair and hope.

Faced with these solvable yet evading issues, Top Media Group has taken it upon it shoulders to feed at least 5,000 street people particularly the vulnerable and needy kids on our streets through it’s “Feed the Street Children” program.

This year 2025 marks the second edition and it was amazing as we laced up our boots and hit the streets on Friday, December 26, 2025.

Accompanied with music and a truck loaded with food, drinks, water, biscuits, cookies, sweets and pure vibes, Feed the Street Children truck made a first stop at Lapaz before moving to Darkuman and Darkuman Junction sharing food, water and gifts along the way.

The station’s team then visited areas where street children commonly gather, sharing food, smiles, and words of encouragement along the Dansoman Junction, First Light Kaneshie and finally Kwame Nkrumah Circle.

Beyond providing meals, the initiative reminded the children that they are seen, valued, and cared for. The radio hosts took time to interact with them, offering hope and reminding the wider community of the importance of compassion, especially during the holidays.

Feed the Street Children showed the power of media to bring people together for a good cause. Through simple acts of kindness, Top Radio and Top helped spread joy, dignity, and warmth proving that the true meaning of the season lies in sharing with those who need it most.

Joins us God willing, 26 December, 2026 for another giving unto the Lord in the name of “Feed the Street Children”.
