As the world prepares to enjoy tantalizing football with the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 kicking off on December 21 in Morocco

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has published a list of items that will not be allowed into any of the tournament stadiums. This according to CAF is to ensure security at the AFCON.

There will be mandatory security checks and screenings before fans will be allowed to enter any match venue

Prohibited items include:

Alcoholic beverages

Illegal drugs and substances

Weapons and sharp objects

Fireworks or pyrotechnics

Glass bottles or containers

Flammable materials

Racist, violent, or discriminatory banners

Unauthorized political, religious, or commercial signage

Drones and animals

Large umbrellas or oversized hats

Professional cameras or recording equipment

Musical instruments and loud horns
