Ghana target Noah Nartey has made a decision on the country he wants to represent at the senior national team level.
The 20-year-old attacking midfielder, who was born in Denmark to Ghanaian parents, had long been on Ghana’s radar as a potential addition to the Black Stars setup.
However, he had consistently shown a preference for representing Denmark, a stance that has now been confirmed with his inclusion in the senior squad.
Nartey, who currently plays for Olympique Lyonnais, has impressed with his development at the club level, earning recognition from the Danish national team selectors.
His brother Niklas Nartey has also been named in the squad, marking a special moment for the Nartey family on the international stage.
The call-up effectively ends any lingering hopes of Ghana securing Noah Nartey’s commitment.
Meanwhile, Ghana head coach Otto Addo has also named his 26-man squad for the national team’s upcoming international friendly matches against Austria and Germany.
The squad includes four new players: Derrick Luckassen, Patrick Pfeiffer, Marvin Senaya, and Daniel Agyei.
