The National Chairman of the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Johnson Asiedu Nketiah and the General Secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Justin Frimpong Kodua, have been spotted in the chamber of Parliament engaged in hearty conversations.
The two leading members of their various parties on Friday, March 24, 2023, stormed the chamber of the house to observe the voting processes to confirm or deny Akufo-Addo’s ministerial nominees.
Spotting an all-black political suit, Asiedu Nketiah, popularly known as General Mosquito, sat directly opposite the Minority in Parliament in the public gallery, whereas Justin, also known as JFK, wore an African print long-sleeved shirt and sat opposite the majority caucus.
As the two observed the ongoing parliamentary debate, their eyes met, and out of reverence for his senior, JFK walked over to Asiedu Nketiah and exchanged pleasantries with him.
The NDC National Chair, as custom demands, offered a seat to his junior brother (JFK). The two engaged in some minutes of discussion laced with hearty laughter and smiles before the NPP’s Chief Scribe walked to his seat at the opposite end of the public gallery.
