Minister of Sports, Hon. Kofi Adams has announced the inauguration of the Governing Board of the Ghana Sports Fund.
The fund according to the Minister will help build the future of Ghana sports with sustainable development plans.

“This marks an important step in translating long-standing aspirations of Ghanaian sport into action. For many years, athletes, federations, and stakeholders have called for a fair, transparent, and dedicated system to support sports development. Today, that vision begins to take firm institutional shape,” Kofi Adams wrote on social media following the inauguration of the board.
Pulling in the President John Dramani Mahama, the Sports Minister expressed his gratitude to his excellency for the constant support his Ministry has received since he was appointed.

“I am grateful to President of the Republic His Excellency John Dramani Mahama (@JDMahama) for his leadership and for staying true to his commitment to reposition sport as a meaningful pillar of national development. The establishment of the Sports Fund reflects a clear promise kept.”
“The Fund is about equity, planning, and responsibility. It is about creating opportunity across all sports, supporting talent at every level, and building a sustainable future for Ghanaian sport,” Kofi Adams shared on his pages.
