The Shatta Wale ranting infestation has entered the gospel sector and Empress Gifty was first to contract the deadly virus.
Empress Gifty Adorye, a popular Ghanaian gospel musician has heaped fire on Nigerian gospel musicians saying they do not reciprocate the love and support Ghanaians show them.
Registering her displeasure in the way the gospel music scene in Africa has been selfishly dominated by Nigerians, Empress Gifty asked the last time a Ghanaian gospel musician headlined an event in Nigeria, as they always do in Ghana.
She agreed with Shatta Wale saying everything the dancehall musician was ranting about is the truth but she will not use insults to address the issue.
Empress then went on to warn event organizers to stop making Nigerian gospel musicians headline artists at concerts in Ghana because they never allow Ghanaians to organize events in their country.
The gospel musician went on to narrate how some Nigerian gospel musicians see themselves as superior and do not even want to associate with them.
Shatta Wale began this topic of Nigerian musicians not reciprocating the support Ghanaians give them and it has caused a ripple effect in the industry.
Empress Gifty Adorye has taken it upon her slaying shoulders to fight for equal rights for gospel musicians in Ghana.
