Holland Burger murdered at Aputuogya

A 26-year-old Holland burger has been murdered at Aputuogya in the Bosomtwe District of the Ashanti region.

The victim, Bernard Boateng was found dead on Monday, January 10, 2022, under a plantain tree after he got missing on Sunday, January 9, 2022.

The Assembly Member for the area, Hon Bright Sefa Boakye Yiadom told the media that the victim’s hands and legs were tied with a rope while cuts were on the forehead and ears.

Mr. Yiadom suspects his assassins subjected him to severe beatings.

The victim who returned from Holland to celebrate Christmas with the family at Suame Makro had gone to the community to visit his friends.

Mr. Yiadom said Bernard went out when he was enjoying some food and drinks with his friends around 8:00 pm.

He said the victim did not return, so, they mounted a search for his whereabouts in the area but did find him.

The victim was found dead the next day’s morning about 100 meters away from the house he visited at Aputuogya.

The body of the deceased has been conveyed by the Police at Aputuogya and deposited in a morgue whiles investigation have commenced into the incident.
