Kumasi-based rapper, Kweku Flick, has opened up about his decision to leave his former record label following the recent trending news round the country about artistes and their record labels.
According to the rapper, his decision was a deliberate one he made sometime ago when he decided to go independent and take on new business roles as he seeks for personal progress in the field of business.
Born, Andy Osei Sarfo, Kweku Flick explained that he had promised himself of exiting the record label by the end of 2025.
“I left my label because I promised myself that by the year 2025 I would be a CEO of my own business, even though I was impressed with the help they gave me,” Kweku Flick said on Angel FM in Kumasi.
The “Messiah” singer said he felt it was the time for him to help people to also attain a certain level of self reliance and to build a team for his baby companies/ventures.
“It was time for me to help people. That is why I ventured into business, and I want to build a team that will help upcoming artists,” he said
“I even have football players that I am investing in,” he added highlighting the his love to groom young football players.
“I am the CEO of Pointed Eyes Company and also the CEO of a record label called Elevation Way,” he said.
