Papa Shee a close friend to the late legendary Ghanaian musician, Daddy Lumba has unveiled a cloth to celebrate the passing of the musician ahead of a planned funeral on the 29th of March 2026.
The cloth since it was out doored has drawn a lot of news and reviews on both social and the traditional media, with the most once being positive.
Daddy Lumba can best be described as one of Ghana’s foremost musicians, considering the might of his works over the years in the music industry.
The musician’s initials DL takes center stage in the design of the cloth with colors of black, gold and white nicely adding to the touch.
Symbolizing peace, love and rest, the cloth bears a heart shaped design, a topic Daddy Lumba most often sang about while he was alive.
“Wo do nti Nyame nhyira wo” (God bless you because of your love” a line from one of Daddy Lumba’s songs is also boldly printed in the cloth, further adding more beauty to the cloth.
Adding a touch of tradition to the cloth, the Adinkra symbols were interwoven into it to drum home the Akan tribe, which Lumba came from.
