Black Sherif leads Spotify’s Global Impact list for H1 2025, ranking the most exported Ghanaian song worldwide.
Ghanaian rapper, Black Sherif known in private life as Mohammed Ismail Sherif has been adjudged by Spotify as the most exported Ghanaian artiste worldwide with the release of their Global Impact list for 2025.
The elaborate list release by the streaming platform was mostly dominated by Black Sherif with a total of 15 solid songs.
some of the songs that got Sherif on the list include So It Goes, Sacrifice, Soma Obi, Lord I’m Amazed, Where Dem Boyz, One, Dreamer, Eye Open, Top of The Morning, The Victory Song, Iron Boy, Sin City and Body.
Leading the list is Moliy with her hit song “Shake It To The Max” (FLY) which featured Silent Addy, Shenseea and Skillibeng.
Since launching his career in 2019, Black Sherif has songs like “Cry for Me” which was very popular on streaming site YouTube.
His debut single “Money” was released on 25 May 2020, along with a music video. In May 2021, his hit single “First Sermon” was released, increasing his audience love for his brand. The song’s sequel, “Second Sermon,” was released in July and received a remix with Nigerian superstar artist Burna Boy.
