American livestream star IShowSpeed has revealed plans to introduce Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo to Ghana, describing the West African nation as an ideal destination blending football passion with rich cultural heritage.
He made these remarks when he was asked one country he will take the Al Nassr star to if he had the opportunity.
The online personality made the remarks during a recent livestream following his widely publicised visit to Ghana as part of his African tour, where he was officially granted Ghanaian citizenship.
The YouTuber, whose energetic broadcasts attract millions of viewers globally, indicated that Ghana’s cultural landmarks and historical sites would offer Ronaldo a unique experience beyond football.
He singled out the country’s traditional heritage and tourism appeal as key attractions capable of presenting a different side of Africa to the five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
“I probably want to take Ronaldo to Ghana. I want him to experience the shea butter museum,” he said.
“We’d probably go to a little pitch, play some football together. Ghana has got some nice pitches, I just feel like it’s a great thing to take there,” he added.
The proposal has already generated excitement among Ghanaian fans online, with many hopeful the visit could strengthen Ghana’s visibility globally.
