A good name is not only better than riches but, It brings more riches as many people say.

The Church of Pentecost Member cum a taxi driver known as Kwesi Ackon, who went viral for showcasing his integrity by being honest is reaping his reward in multiple folds for returning an amount of GH¢8,400 he found in his car to a business woman.

Kwesi Ackon is being celebrated by the whole world for showing patriotism and high integrity for his honesty.

 the 37 years old man who fellowships at the Onyametease Assembly in the Kokomlemle District of The Church of Pentecost picked an old lady on Easter Friday from the Mallam Atta Market in Accra to her residence at Teshie. The old woman, a trader, unfortunately, left her apron in which the money was concealed at the back of the taxi cab.

He disclosed this to Foxx the host of “Top Pawa Drive” live on “Top103.1”.

The honest and God fearing taxi driver saw the item the following morning when he was cleaning his car. He showed it to his wife and they agreed to return it to the old woman.

Kwesi Ackon traced the trader to her residence in Teshie after closing from the Easter Convention on Sunday afternoon.

Apparently, the old woman, who had been weeping throughout the whole period over the missing money, could not hold her tears when the driver returned the money intact to her.

It is gathered that, the whole community joined her to celebrate the driver amdist tears of joy.

It didn’t end there. The kind and honest attitude of the taxi driver encourage more people to do good to him. Kwesi’s overnight breakthrough is such a great lesson for young people. Some people have so far donated cash, items etc to the taxi driver.

Below are list of individuals who donated to support the taxi driver for his honesty.

1. The woman whose money he returned has donated GH¢500.00 to him as his fuel and some fishes to him in return.

2. The Vice President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, after hearing of the news, dolled out GH¢ 20,000.00 to him.

3. The Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) 2022 Artiste of the Year Winner, KiDi has also donated a cash of GH¢5,000.00

4. Salt Media CEO, O.K Frimpong donated GH¢7,800.00 to the taxi driver.

5. Asempa FM also donated GH¢15,000.00 to Mr. Kwesi Ackon.

6. The former Black Stars of Ghana captian Asamoah Gyan gifts GH¢ 10,000.00 to Mr. Kwesi Ackon for being honest.

7. Dr. Lawrence Nii Tetteh, a renowned Ghanaian evangelist and preacher of God’s Word, has promised to purchase a new Taxi for Mr. Kwesi Ackon for his honesty.

8. The La Area Head of the Church, Apostle John Osei Amaniampong, on behalf of the Area, donated GH¢ 5,000.00 to the taxi driver

9. The Kokomlemle District of the Church of Pentecost also donated GH¢1,000.00

The celebrated taxi driver Kwasi Ackon and his beautiful family were at the Headquarters of The Church of Pentecost on Thursday, 12th May, 2022 after an interview on Pent TV and met the General Secretary of the Church of Pentecost Apostle Alexander Kumi – Larbi Jnr and others.

According to our reliable sources, the church’s ultimate reward for Kwesi Ackon will be announced by the Chairman of the church, Apostle Eric Nyamekye, in the coming days.
